The Aare Bakinson Foundation has confirmed that its scholarship scheme has now supported over 500 students since it began in 2012.
The scheme covers tuition, books, examination fees and a stipend for students across Owu Kingdom whose academic performance is strong but whose families cannot meet the cost of continuing their education.
A significant number of past beneficiaries have returned to the Foundation as volunteers and mentors, and several now support the scheme financially.
