About

A room where the future of the community is decided

The Ajiboshin Symposium gathers those who hold responsibility in government, in the palace, in the boardroom and in the village, around the questions that will define the next decade.

The theme

This third edition convenes under the theme Community Development, Artificial Intelligence and National Leadership: three subjects that are usually discussed in separate rooms, deliberately brought together.

Artificial intelligence is no longer a distant technology story; it is already reshaping who gets a job, who gets a loan, and who gets heard. National leadership determines whether that reshaping is governed or merely absorbed. And community development is where the consequences of both land first. The symposium exists to hold those three in one conversation.

What happens on the day

Proceedings open at 12:00 Noon in the Main Auditorium, Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria: a keynote address, a chairman's remarks, and panel sessions drawing together policy makers, technologists, royal fathers and community leaders. The day closes with a exclusive dinner at 7:00 PM in the Small Marquee, OOPL.
